BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

1956   born in Tbilisi, USSR

1978   graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs(Foreign Economic Affairs Department)

1986   graduated from the Moscow Surikov State Art Institute(Painting Department)

1991   Lecturer at Tbilisi Art Academy.

He was engaged as an art director in several film productions of the independent film studious in Tbilisi (films: "Home" – participant of the Munich Film Festival in 1992; "On the edge" – prize winner at the Locarno Film Festival in 1993).
