Mamonov Bogdan
Bogdan Mamonov is a Moscow artist whose activities began in the context of actual art in 1987 and passed through the periods of easel painting, actionism and slide-film, being performed both individually and together with other authors. His work experienced the times of silence and safely lived till its new period beginning from 1996.
A member of "No Title Group" whose provocative policy can be definitely called successful (besides Bogdan, its participators were Alexander Brener and Anton Litvin), as it used the most radical genre that for the first time was discovered in Moscow art of the 90s, i.e. action ("Dedicated to Mao", GUM; "Tongues", McDonalds; "Plagiarism", Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts).
