graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute
From 1983 works in the field of book design, multimedia, scenography, painting and graphic art
1986-87 made kinetic objects for theater staging "What Happened after Salvation", costumes and decorations for the play "I Am Faust"
From 1990 INTERSTUDIO Theater Art Director and lecturer at the International Studio of Synthesis and Animation (Tsarskoe Selo)
1990-91 the author of scenography, costumes and puppet objects for the play "Don Juan" (Grand Prix at Lugano and Athens festivals)
1991 series of pictures, objects and drawings "Lemons’ Stories"
1992 series "Bird Stories"
1994 scholarship of Schlezwig-Holstein Culture Ministry (Salzau Castle)
From 1996 works in video art
Galina Ledentsova’s first work was an installation "Frog’s Leap" shown in 1996 at the exhibition "Emergency Exit" among other works of young artists of Interstudio". The exhibition took place at TV Gallery, whose primary goal is to search and support gifted artists working with new technologies in Russia. "Frog’s Leap" was one of the best works at the exhibition.
