THE SALVATION OF SPACES
1995
Salnikov Vladimir
Post-theological Doctrine of the electronic technologies' era,
Vladimlr Salnlkov's Doctrine "THE SALVATION OF SPACES" gives a helping hand to a human being in the era of electronic simlarities.
In accordance with the views of contemporary anthropologists the Teacher examines a personality and a human being's body as products of social technologies, as a certain cyborg made by these technologies according to the needs of prevailing groups of some concrete human environment.
The Doctrine offers a modern man to realise this (outward to his own aims and requirements) validity of the programs put into him, which mostly became out of date; it offers to get rid of them, to clear his conscience from them, to wipe them out and to draw up a new approach to life, i.e. to reprogramme himself.
During TV lectures, meditation seanses and rituals "The Salvation of Spaces" teaches to cope with different life problems without any help, .to find new decisions and as a result to expect non-trivial existential and moral reactions and conclusions from one's adepts.
Basing on his own original research of modern religions, Vladimir Salnikov offers his own conception – "The Salvation of Spaces", considering every person watching his TV programs, to be his follower, no matter to which extent the latter follows his Doctrine or shares his ideas. Thus the main means of spreading the Doctrine – Television – becomes a temple, and all potential audience watching "The Salvation of Spaces", forms a commune, i.e. people united only by watching these TV programs.

"As a matter of fact, this is the first successful interactive artistic action. Genre of TV preaching has become so widely used that it had to be reflected in artistic space. The audience at the exhibition forgot for a moment that they had been invited just for a trick, and everyone had been standing before TV screen for half an hour at least, taking TV Gallery hall for consulting-room... "The virtual guru delivers his lectures, answers any kind of questions while talking to his flock, moreover, he arranges seances of individual psychotherapy, gathering full houses of only lunatics... that's why we insistently reccommend you to join the Sect "The Salvation of Spaces" to keep your soul quiet and peaceful..."
