Francisco INFANTE is called a kinetic artist, a romantic conceptualist, a successor of the Russian avant-garde ideas of the beginning of the century. While analyzing his works they draw parallels between Malevich’s supremacy, Tatlin’s relieves, Popova’s abstractions, Rodchenko’s geometry.

Like modern fairy-tales, Francisco Infante’s artifacts are a metaphorical description of something that can never be, at the same time remaining hundred percent hand-made.

Being visually imaginary, the artist’s works are neither collages nor computer editing, they are real constructions on location which are photographed afterwards.
